California Arts Academy
The California Arts Academy is know for their dance program and performing arts, but did you know they offer art classes as well? If you mention Sammy as a referral, your child can receive a FREE drawing class at the Blackstone location or a tuition discount of 8% (new students only). These are small group classes, ages 6-18 are welcome. If you begin in the middle of the semester your tuition will be prorated. Trunk of Treats!
For a safer alternative to regular trick or treating in the neighborhood, many local churches offer "trunk or treat" activites with carnival style games, face painting, and chili cook-off contests, etc. Volunteers will decorate their cars' trunks and the children can trick or treat in the parking lot. This way it's a one stop event and parents feel peace of mind and kids go home happy. So ask around your group of church-going friends if you don't already have somewhere in mind.
Every congregation of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will have a Trunk or Treat on Oct 30th starting at 6pm.

Pick up a schedule of feedings when you enter. Normal admission applies. $7 adults, $3.50 for children 2-11 and seniors 62+. 894 Belmont Ave. 498-5920.

The weekend of Oct. 22,23,and 24th, from 5-8pm at Fresno Chaffee Zoo.

Shade Clothing is closing its website this Sunday. The liquidation has reached an all time low. Many of the sizes are limited however the best deal includes black and white camisoles and they still have every size. So if you are looking for an undershirt for $1.54 now's your chance! Shipping ranges between $5-$7, so if you can order with a local friend you can save on shipping too. My mother and I made our purchase last night- 8 items including cami's, shirts and pants for $37 including shipping. Each item averaged $4.60 after shipping.
